BIOGRAPHY

I was born in Milan in 1989.
I started studying piano at the age of eight, but even then I realized that I was more interested in writing music rather than playing it, so much so that after about ten years I decided to switch to composition studies.
Subsequently, I pursued my education at the Civica Scuola di Musica Claudio Abbado, studying with Giovanni Verrando (composition), Paolo Coggiola (harmony and counterpoint) and Andrea Melis (musical analysis), with whom I graduated in 2016 (BA) and in 2022 (MA).
I also attended masterclasses with Fabio Vacchi at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole (2017) and with Stefano Gervasoni at the International Divertimento Ensemble Academy in Moncalvo (2018).
In parallel with all this, I attended university: I first graduated with a degree in Philosophical Sciences in 2013, followed by a degree in Musicology in 2015 at the University of Milan. I wrote a thesis on the piano sonatas of Charles Ives, a composer who was fundamental to my education and for whom I have a kind of veneration.
My works are published by Edizioni Preludio; some of them have been performed by Divertimento Ensemble, MDI Ensemble and others. Since 2018 I have also been working as a music engraver for Edizioni Ricordi.
